"Greene County Children Services must respond to more than 1,200 reports of possible child abuse, neglect, or dependency each year. Many of these children have to relive their traumas as they tell their painful stories to those who will and need to listen. It’s for the worst of these cases that Michael's House exists."
On the podcast this week, Meghan sat down with Amy Ferguson, Manager of Michael's House, to discuss the Child Advocacy Center's work for the children in Fairborn and Greene County.
With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, this conversation was even more poignant as Amy shared both the heartfelt work and the heartbreaking work that goes into what the staff at Michael's House deal with. We encourage you to take the time to listen to the story of Michae's House and learn how you can help the center and the kids of Greene County.
