We sit down for a conversation with Priya Bathija to chat about the many challenges women face in our healthcare system, and how Priya is part of the movement to finding solutions.  Spoiler alert, problems with women's health go far beyond the issues with maternal healthcare!

Priya Bathija is the founder and CEO of Nyoo Health, an organization dedicated to improving access and redefining health and healthcare for women. She is also an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she teaches healthcare payment and policy.

Previously, she was at the American Hospital Association where she led policy efforts and strategic initiatives on value, health equity and maternal health. She started her career as a healthcare attorney and served as in-house counsel and a member of the leadership teams at ProMedica and MedStar Health.

She currently serves on a number of non-profit boards, including the American Board of Medical Specialties, The Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health, and the South Asian Bar Association of North America.
