Can freedom of the individual and the Catholic Church coexist? With Csaba Török (priest and theologian)

Freedom in Hungary

02-12-2022 • 29 minutes

In this podcast, we talk to Csaba Török, who is a Hungarian Catholic priest, a senior parish priest of the Esztèrgom Cathedral, a theologian and a university professor. But behind the many titles, Csaba Török is first and foremost a progressive thinker of our days. He is a man in whom respect for tradition and the need to transcend oneself are both present. In this episode, more than other times, we will touch on several concepts, but the main curiosity we had was: how can a free spirit like him live freely as a member of a seemingly rigid Catholic Church? And what does freedom mean from a biblical perspective?
